How It Works

1

Put together a film crew. This could include a writer, director, producer, editor, make-up artist, animator or many more or less

2

Select a TEAM NAME

3

Register your team by downloading the entry form @ http://www.ffilmic.co.uk/submissions.htm and return to Arts Connection by Monday 9th August

4

Arrive at the kick-off venue - Youth & Community Centre, Llanfyllin, with at least one of your team members on 6.30pm on Monday 9th August.

5

If you cannot make the launch, your group will receive the relevant information by email on Monday 9th August at approx. 7.30pm

6

Your team name will be called out and whoever is attending from your team will then collect your genre, prop and line of dialogue Genres may include:

  • Comedy
  • Drama
  • Horror
  • Action / Adventure
  • Road Movie
  • Music Video
  • Mocumentary
  • Documentary
  • Crime Caper
  • Murder Mystery
  • Romance
  • Film Noir
  • Musical
  • Western
  • Silent Movie
  • Sci Fi

We are aware that many films are cross genre for example comedy/romance or horror/road movie. Teams will not be discriminated against for combining genres as long as their film obviously fits into the main genre they are given

7

You have until Wednesday 18th August to script, shoot, edit and deliver your completed film to the Arts Connection Office in the Youth & Community Centre, Llanfyllin along with your completed actors, location and music release forms.

8

Come and join us on Saturday 4th September where the winning films from each category will be announced and screened. Prizes will also be awarded.
